Why can't I install the system myself? |

Due to every door being made so different from home to home we require a Stoett Industries certified installer for each installation. They will be able to custom fit a StowAway™ retractable screen much better than comparable DIY products on the market. |

How long does it take one of your certified installers to install it on my door? |

Depending on the type and the condition of the door our StowAway™ retractable screen will be installed on, the installation process will take one of our certified installers 35 minutes to 1 ½ hours. |

What does your warranty cover? |

Stoett Industries, Inc. warrants all parts and mechanisms on the retractable screen to be free from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty excludes the screen material itself. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse or acts of God beyond the control of Stoett Industries, Inc. or our representatives. |

How big of an opening will it cover? |

The StowAway™ retractable screen system can be used to cover any opening up to 9 feet in height and 4 feet wide (for a single entry unit). French doors are covered with two units, one unit on the left and one unit installed on the right jamb, that retract out and meeting in the middle of the opening. |

Are there any special care requirements? |

The benefit of a StowAway™ retractable screen is when not in use the screen is protected from the elements. It is recommended that the top and bottom tracks are kept clean from dirt and debris. In addition, the top and bottom tracks can be lubricated with a Silicone lubricant. Do not use an oil-based lubricant because it can cause the tracks to attract dirt. |

Why do you not list prices on your website? |

The StowAway™ retractable screen is offered through a Dealer network of window and door companies, builders, contractors, and building supply houses. Since each StowAway™ retractable screen is custom made to your doors exact specifications your local dealer can specify the exact combination of products that will ensure a proper fit and can provide you a price based upon your specific needs. |
